Yes! SavAI is completely free to download and use. There are no subscription fees, hidden costs, or premium tiers. We make money through partnerships, not from our users.

How It Works
How do I get started with SavAI?
Getting started is simple: 1) Download the SavAI app from the App Store or Google Play, 2) Take photos of your Costco receipts, 3) We'll automatically track prices and alert you when refunds are available.
Do I need to scan every receipt?
For the best savings opportunities, we recommend scanning all your receipts. However, you can choose to only scan receipts with high-value items if you prefer. The more receipts you scan, the more potential savings we can find for you.
How quickly do I get alerted about price drops?
Price drop alerts are sent within hours of detection. We monitor prices multiple times per day to ensure you have the maximum time to claim your refund before the 30-day window expires.
Which Costco stores does SavAI support?
SavAI currently tracks prices across all 153 Costco warehouses in Canada. We don't support US Costco stores yet, but we're interested in expanding! If you'd like to see US store support, please let us know at hello@savai.app.

What is Costco's price adjustment policy?
Costco will refund the difference if an item you purchased goes on sale within 30 days of your purchase date. This applies to most merchandise, but electronics and appliances may have specific terms.
How do I claim a refund at Costco?
Visit any Costco member services desk with your receipt (or membership card if you've lost it) and ask for a price adjustment. SavAI provides you with all the details you need, including the item number and new price.
What items are eligible for price adjustments?
Most Costco merchandise is eligible for price adjustments. Items marked with an asterisk (*) are final sales and may have restrictions. Fresh foods, custom services, and some seasonal items may not be eligible.
Do I need my physical receipt to get a refund?
While having your receipt makes the process faster, Costco can look up your purchases using your membership card. However, we recommend keeping receipts when possible for the smoothest experience.
App & Privacy
Is my data safe with SavAI?
Yes, we take your privacy seriously. We only collect the information needed to provide price tracking services, and we never share your personal data with third parties. All data is encrypted and stored securely.
Which devices support SavAI?
SavAI is available for both iOS (iPhone/iPad) and Android devices. You can download it from the App Store or Google Play Store.
Does SavAI work with Costco.com purchases?
Currently, SavAI only tracks in-store Costco purchases. Online purchase tracking isn't available yet, but we're interested in building this feature! If you'd like to see Costco.ca support, please let us know at hello@savai.app - your feedback helps us prioritize new features.
Troubleshooting
What if I miss the 30-day refund window?
Unfortunately, Costco's policy requires refund requests within 30 days of purchase. However, SavAI alerts you as soon as price drops are detected to give you maximum time to claim your refund.
